Completed in 1893, the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall—also known as the Chen Clan Academy—was built by 72 Chen clans across Guangdong as a kinship hall and now houses the Guangdong Folk Art Museum. This 15,000-square-meter complex is celebrated as the "Pearl of Lingnan Architectural Art," showcasing the Seven Decorative Arts: wood, brick, and stone carving, pottery sculpture, lime molding, cast bronze and iron, and colorful painting.
